Naim Qassem: We will not leave the square and we will turn it into hell for “Israel”

The Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sheikh Naim Qassem, affirmed that “the planes embrace the ground and suffocate the Israeli occupier, the marches terrify the earth’s evil and tyrants, the missiles shake their lives, and they live with anxiety and psychological crises.”
Sheikh Qassem indicated in a letter addressed to the party’s “leaders, unit officials, and resistance fighters” that the party is facing “Israeli-American aggression that wants to subjugate Lebanon to be part of Greater Israel,” stressing that the party “will not submit or surrender, and will continue to defend Lebanon and its people, no matter how long it takes and no matter how great the sacrifices.”
He stressed, "We will not leave the field and will turn it into hell for Israel. We will respond to aggression and violations, and we will not return to what was before March 2."
He pointed out that "the Iranian-American agreement, which includes stopping the aggression against Lebanon, is almost the strongest card to stop the aggression," explaining that "the responsibility for negotiating to achieve Lebanon's sovereign goals falls on the Lebanese authority, with the party's readiness to cooperate to achieve Lebanon's sovereignty by stopping the Israeli aggression on land, sea, and air, liberating the land with the Israeli army's exit from the occupied territories and the Lebanese army's deployment south of the Litani, liberating prisoners, returning residents to their villages, and rebuilding."
He called for "the option of indirect negotiations, where the cards of power are in the hands of the Lebanese negotiator," demanding withdrawal from "direct negotiations that constitute pure profits for Israel and free concessions from the Lebanese authority."
He stressed that "no one outside Lebanon has anything to do with weapons, the resistance, and the organization of the internal affairs of the Lebanese state," pointing out that this issue is "an internal Lebanese issue and not part of the negotiation with the enemy," adding that after achieving the five points, "Lebanon is arranging its internal situation with the national security strategy, taking advantage of its strength elements, including the resistance."
Sheikh Qassem praised the people of the South, the Bekaa, the Dahiya, Beirut, Mount Lebanon and the North, saying that they constitute “dear life, not humiliation, liberation, not surrender, and sovereignty, not enslavement.”
